Application of lpr camera system

In the previous article, RS Security Co., Ltd introduced the application of lpr camera system. Now I will continue to add the application of lpr camera system for your reference.

1. Highway toll management

Install lpr camera system at each entrance and exit of the highway. When the vehicle enters, the vehicle license plate is identified and the entrance information is stored in the toll system. When the vehicle arrives at the exit, its license plate is identified again and the entrance information is called according to the license plate information. The toll management is realized by combining the entrance and exit information. This application can realize automatic billing and prevent non-payment, thus avoiding the loss of receivables.

Highways have begun to implement networked toll collection. With the expansion of the network scope, the difference in tolls for different models is getting higher and higher. The problem of drivers taking advantage of loopholes in the existing toll collection system to evade fees by changing cards midway will become more and more prominent. The use of lpr camera system technology is the fundamental way to solve such problems.

2. Calculate vehicle travel time

In the traffic management system, the average travel time of vehicles on a certain road can be used as a parameter to judge the congestion of the road. Install the lpr camera system at the start and end points of the road, read all passing vehicles and transmit the license plate numbers back to the traffic control center. The management system of the control center can calculate the average travel time of vehicles based on these results.
